So we finally caught a break: Class got cancelled today :) and about time, too, because winter has been such a disappointment this year
So I went to the Grand Rapids Public Library and got a copy of the documentary Before the Music Dies (excerpts of which we had watched in class on Tuesday), and I just finished watching it. Much gorgeous music, of course
About the segments (of the documentary) that addressed Clear Channel: We have, in fact, also heard Clear Channel's side of the story (when we took CN 185 (Intro to Radio)), and they are, in fact, also themselves struggling (to some extent)
And, by the way, when I took CN 185, we also addressed the changing nature of music discovery in that class
Much gorgeous music in this documentary.
