So we started talking about television, in that we revisited the hypothesis that stuff might be media constructs, with special emphasis to the question whether class might be a media construct. We did adopt a broad definition of class, distinguishing economic class, social class, cultural class, political class, etc., and addressing each of those in turn.
We also watched a documentary on that topic, which, of course, was pretty meta, being that a documentary, too, is a part of media :) We did not finish the chapter and plan to continue on Friday
